Can I use hot chocolate powder instead of cocoa to make chocolate/oatmeal drop cookies?!

It might work, but you would have to decrease the amount of sugar and increase the amount of "cocoa". (And if it has marshmellows you might want to pick those out unless you are letting it sit overnight in which case they *should* soften)

But particularly with it being no-bake I don't see any reason why it would work. And you can fiddle around with pretty easily. I would start with half the amount of sugar and 2-3 times the amount of cocoa and taste it and go from there.

(PS no bake drop cookies? Never even heard of a no bake drop cookie, send me/post the recipe? Thanks)

No. That would not work.

baking cocoa usually isnt as sweet (often completely unsweetened) so using hot chocolate mix might make it way to sweet...but if you wanted to use it anyways i'd at least cut the sugar in the recipe down

no, there is stuff in the hotchocolate mix that would mess with not only the consistency but also the taste of the cookies.........
