I wouldn't say 10 years but 2-3 past the expiration date for sure. They have a lot of salt in them which really doesn't go bad. However the cube can become very sticky if they are kept in an area with a lot of moisture.

These things are what I like to call nuclear food. Chicken bullion cubes last for frikkin' ever and never seem to deteriorate for having been stored forever. They may have only made this stuff once in 1957 but made enough to last forever - it sure seems that way.
Since all of the juicy protein bits which would have gotten funky have been dried up and it's all preserved in salt there's not much room for these things to go bad.

In my mothers house is some said same product from 1962
It's Shelf life as of yet has not been determined. I beleive it was purchased shortly after the assasination of Jfk and the watts riots. I recently needed some bayleaf and foolishly asked my mother if she had some.
Same yellow box it came in, in 1968 during the tet offensive
My mother don't throw no spices away.

I would say a couple of months b/c if you think about it, would you use it if it had been sitting in the shelf for 10 years

If you can't remember when you got it , toss it out!!!
