How long should I cook a 11 lb half ham with bone.?!

Question: My old Better Homes and Gardens cookbook says for a fully cooked ham with bone, 2-2 1/4 hrs for half, 6-8 pounds or 3- 3 1/4 hrs for whole, 12-14 pounds.
For a cook-before-eating ham with bone, 3- 3 1/4 hours for half, 6-8 pounds, and 3 1/3- 4 hours for whole, 10-12 pounds.

about 2 hours should be more then enough.....good luck and Happy Thanksgiving!

isnt there something on the package that should say? Im not sure but it think there is a rule for turkey anyway that for every 5 pounds its an hour or something.

I have always cooked it 13 minutes for each pound. and it always comes out right. so probably 2 hours is good

A fully cooked whole or half 10-14 lb. ham should cook at 325 for 2 1/2 to 3 /12 hrs. An uncooked whole or half 10-14 lb. ham at 325 for 3-4 1/2 hrs. Thermometer temp. on a fully cooked ham should be 140; on the uncooked 160.
