How long should i cook a 22 lb turkey?!

Question: The average rule of thumb is 15 - 20 minutes per pound at 325 - 350 depending on your oven. If you're going to stuff your bird, that can add an additional 20-45 minutes per pound. To test for doneness, insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the breast, that should register 180 and the drumsticks should move freely in their sockets.

Good luck!

Depends if it is stuffed or unstuffed. The butterball website has a calculator. If it is unstuffed - roast it at 325F for 3 1/2 - 4 hours.

Preheat your oven to 425. When you're ready to cook your bird decrease the temp to 325. Cook 15 min per pound. For a 22lb turkey you're looking at 5 and a half hours. To check for doneness insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the breast and when it reads 175 it's done. Or your turkey may already have one. When the red center pops up it's done.

It should say on the packaging but I do believe you should cook a 22 pound turkey for 7 1/2 hours.

Approximately 5 hours or + at 350 degrees.
unstuffed, 4 - 4 1/2 hours.
add 1/2 - 1 hour if stuffed.
