Please share your snickerdoodle recipe?!

Question: I am attending a party next week and I want to bring some snickerdoodle cookies. (I am an Aussie and have never made them before...). I want to impress my American friends... do you have a fail-proof recipe that is delicious. I have to buy the ingredients here in Australia - so no particular brands of product if possible... as I may not be able to get them here...

snickerdoodles are tough, they are one of the most delicious in my book though. They do have the already premade dough at the store by Pilsbury or Nestle that is in "snickerdoodle". But they aren't as good as some that I have had before. I am sure that you can find a million recipies on the internet, if noone ends up having one for you. I wish I did, but that happens to be one cookie that I do not have a recipe for. Good luck!
