Please Help! QUICK ANSWERS NEEDED! CAKE?!

Question: Can I add fresh strawberries to a cake, then bake it? Or will the strawberries burn?

If so, then what is better to use? Fresh strawberries or frozen ones?

Personally, I wouldn't bake a cake with strawberries in it. They 'moosh' down and the cake looks all streaked and the berries get so soft. I'd rather bake a regular cake and either turn it into shortcake if using froz berries, or decorate the top of the cake with berries and whipped cream if using fresh.

Im not 100% sure but i think inside the cake they will get mushy but not burn

fresh or frozen ok. just be sure to slice the breeies first. this will prevent them collasping and creating pockets in ur cake

Bake the cake alone.
Take fresh or frozen strawberries & cook in pan on top of stove with sugar.
When both cool, apply strawberries on top of cake.

No, they should be used as a topping or garnish only.
