Need to make CHEESECAKE without springform, how? I bought a throwaway aluminum pan and maybe I can "tear" it!

Question: Can I tear the pan down the sides to get the cheescake out? Help! gotta have the cheesecake for Thanksgiving! Do you have any other suggestions?

ok I think it is thoughtful and could work. chill it thouroughly before cutting sides because it is firmer.

I would just leave it in the pan and serve from the pan, tearing sounds like it could end in disaster.

I usually make cheesecake with the already made graham cracker crust. Saves me time and saves me from washing the springform pan.

Just serve it in the aluminum pan--no need to tear anything.

No need to tear the pan. Due to its shape, it should slip out quite easily.
