Can you freeze cheese straws?!
Answers: i want to make some cheese straws for xmass but want to make them now is it ok to freez them
Yes, you can freeze them. First, put them on a lightly greased cookie sheet overnight in the freezer (make sure they aren't touching each other) and this way they won't stick together during the final step, which is to gather them up off the cookie sheet and put them in resealable plastic bags and back in the freezer. They should keep for a few months.
Freeze the dough rather than freezing the cooked cheese straws. Dough freezes fine; I think you could even roll it out so you just have to cut it into straws and bake it when the time comes.
