How to roast aspargus??!
Answers: i really need sum help, i just found out like 5 min ago my dad wants me 2 make oven roasted asparagus & ive never cooked that b4 so can u ppl help me out i need sumthing VERY simple & basic thanks
1bunch (12 to 14 ounces) asparagus spears
1tablespoon olive oil
1/2teaspoon salt
1/4teaspoon black pepper
1/4cup shredded Asiago or Parmesan cheese
Preparation: 1.Preheat oven to 425°F.
2.Trim off and discard tough ends of asparagus spears. Peel stem ends with vegetable peeler, if desired. Arrange asparagus in shallow baking dish. Drizzle oil over asparagus; turn spears to coat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
3.Roast asparagus until tender, about 12 to 18 minutes depending on thickness of asparagus. Chop or leave spears whole. Sprinkle with cheese.
blanch the aspargus first
then lay it on a cookie sheet in a single layer
drizzle with olive oil
sprinkle with parm cheese
bake at 325 for like 3 min
well i roast veg all the time i just drizzle olive oil,gind black pepper and tiny bit of crunchy salt-ie maldon,if im doing a tray of mixed veg i add garlic gloves cut in half and onion wedges great flavour! the asparugus wont take long to cook so keep an eye on it! enjoy
