I've never tried pancake syrup, but it sounds like a good idea, i'll try that next time, thanks.
I use brn. sugar, butter, pinapple, marshmellows, merishino cheeries.
But I bet that pancake syrup makes it gooy good huh?

brown sugar, butter , and pineapple juice.

i made sweet potatoes today for thanksgiving. i used marshmellows, all you do is throw them in a pot of mashed sweet poratoes and they melt on the hot potatoes. its really good.

Never heard of that. We just use brown sugar. Glad you liked them though. Happy Thanksgiving.

Yes...but not that much...maybe 1/8-1/4 cup at most.

I use the canned sweet potatoes. I drain the syrup out of the cans, then dump them in a baking dish. Then, I add butter (1/2 to 1 stick depending on amount of potatoes), brown sugar (1/2 cup?), small marshmallows, and I do drizzle some maple syrup over it, too. I add some cinnamon and/or some "apple pie spice". I don't really measure anything. Then, I stir it all together, and coat the top with marshmallows and bake it at 350 for about 20-25 minutes (until the marshmallows on top are a little browned).
SO easy! ...Actually, I was asked to bring these again this year and was a little disappointed that I wasn't asked to bring something a little more challenging because I love to bake!

I like the idea of pineapple juice (the first answer)...I'll have to try that next time! :)

When I make my sweet potatoes I use brown sugar, melted butter, a splash of heavy cream and a wee bit of honey. Then beat them till they are fluffy. You can use maple syrup, but use a real maple syrup...

Today I just used brown sugar and then put marshmallows on top. But for some reason the marshmallows just browned and didn't melt. They were Kraft ones and I thought they would melt.

Butter and brown sugar

A good syrup such as real Maple or Sorgum would be good. I'm not to sure about the artificially flavored ones.

Here is one

INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds medium sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled, and cut up
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packe
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
PREPARATION:
Place cut up sweet potatoes in a buttered 2-quart baking dish. In a saucepan, combine remaining ingredients; cook until mixture boils. Pour over potatoes; bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until hot and nicely glazed.

Your answer:
i can tell you it is not hoping that others get hit by a truck.

Source(s):
shame on you. i work as a psychotherapist with traumatically brain injured individuals, and wishing a car accident on anyone is a very sad thing

My response to you:
Well then I'm sure that you can understand this. I have led a life of hell and misery that no one can bring themselves to imagine. Nearly everyone I have crossed paths with, has treated me like crap. I'm tired of being hurt. I ask a question as nice as I know how to, and you answer with "wow". Try to put yourself in my shoes.
