Can u make garlic bread using garlic powder and other spices that come in the bottle instead of fresh garlic o!
Answers: instead of fresh garlic or garlic butter?
I think all the other answers are good, but they forgot to tell you to taste it before putting it on your bread. Garlic powder and Garlic salt are good spices to have, but if you use too much, you will have REALLY garlic-y bread. I take the room temp. butter (or spread) and add the garlic powder a little at a time. (Especially if you are using Garlic salt.) Mix it really well and take a little taste. If it is enough, great! Spread it on and toast. If not, then add a little more. Remember, you can always add it, you can't take it back out.
yup. mix some butter, garlic powder (or salt) and some italian seasonings and put that on the bread and bake! Works great
sure, melt your butter in a skillet... then add whatever spices you want and then let it sit for a few min! then spread over your bread and toast away.
garlic powder and parsley is all I ever use in mine
sure. Butter the bread. Add garlic powder or garlic salt. Cook in the oven. voila. Add parsley for extra flavor.
thats all i use, i dont like the taste of fresh garlic anyway but i didnt like on garlic bread it made it way to strong tasting... so use any kind of garlic powder with herbs or whatever and make sure u mix it with 1/2 stick of margarine or butter your preference...
yes, you can either spread butter (or marg) on your bread and then sprinkle with your garlic powder or you can premix your butter and garlic then spread on bread....it takes less if it is garlic salt and not powder....enjoy
Sure you can use garlic powder.. provided you have the taste buds of a goat. But there is nothing like a clove of garlic cut in half and rubbed on a piece of buttered bread than toasted.
