Im throwing my sons 1st birthday party, its Sesame Street theme, any neat ideas?!

Question: So far I have pin the nose on elmo and an elmo pinata, I also printed out sesame street coloring pages for the kids to color and take home with them. I also thought about making sugar cookies and putting a C on them with colored icing, you know C is for cookie. I was wondering if anyone else had any cute, decoration, game, food, etc ideas

ahhh i think thats really sweet and different and as he is 1 he will love it.

H ow about get someone to dress up as elmo or big bird etc. Also have a game like a candy walk (cake walk) but all the kids get a piece of candy!

1.which of these things is not like the other game
2. play seseame street music throughout the party
3.pin the beak on big bird
4. Alphabet adventure where kids go on a hunt for the things that start with different letters
5.cupcakes decorated with different seseame street character's faces

when i was obsessed with barney, my mom got people to dress up as barney and baby bop for my party. i loved it! for food, if it's going to be mainly kids, they'll be happy with pizza. for adults, you could do things like baked ziti or meatballs. also, if you're going to let your son dig into his cake, they have free ones at GIANT if you bring his birth certificate in. have fun!
