16th birthday..?!

Question: its in march, and i reallly have no idea what to do. i cant have a HUGE party because my parents dont want to spend a bunch of money. i kinda want to dress up a little for it too. any ideas.. like renting a center and dancing, going out to dinner.? im not sure. HELP. :]

rent out a buildings party room
(they dont cost too much)
and have everyone dress up
the only bad thing is that some of those places
only let you stay until about 2:30 am
so you couldn't sleep over

have lots of peeps at ur house and have a pot luck
