Michaels craft stores carry many things like that and also baking boxes...or the .99 cent store has awesome things to put them into...or even Christmas dishes wrapped in pretty Christmasy saran wrap would do with a bow on top.
I personally do not put them into tins with the way things have been...I get plastic plates shaped like a snowman or Christmas tree or santa and load them up with cookies, and candy canes and then saran wrap them with a bow and curly ribbon.
Check out an arts and crafts chain store. They should have lots of them.
Go to the dollar store. I'm serious. They have the cutest little containers.
The dollar store---they have really cute tins in all different sizes for $1.
walmart has that kinda stuff and target
I just saw a wonderful collection at Michaels craft store. But, they are really cheap at Big Lots though thet don't quite have the selection at Michaels. They had plastic ones and cardboard ones that look like Chinese take out containers and even have little handles. I like the plastic ones because they can be rinsed out and reused again. They also have round ones with lids that are nesting and come in 3 sizes all ready decorated. They range in price from 25 cents to around 1 dollar. Now your cheapest option is on the candy making aisle where they have cellophane bags with little bells and ones with little Christmas trees that you can put your goodies in and staple closed with a bow. They also sell cellophane in colors by the roll and I made Halloween candy sacks for the kids in my neighborhood by cutting out squares putting the goodies in the middle and using curling ribbon to tie the top shut. Cute! I paid $1.99 for 25 foot cellophane rolls and made a ton of goody bags out of it and have half a roll leftover for Christmas goodies.
I was in a craft store (Michaels) and saw various size boxes to hold Christmas goodies.
Not sure if you have that chain where you live, but any craft store should have similar containers.
Also, I use (birthday) goodie bags throughout the year to give cookies to loved ones. I stack them up by the dozen (or 1/2) and wrap them in plastic wrap and then put them in the goodie bag and tie it with pretty ribbon.
Best wishes!
Try finding a craft store like Hobby Lobby. That's where I get mine!
walmart, kmart, target, dollar tree...just about any store that sells christmas decorations
WalMart, Target, K-mart
If you go to Walmart or Target, they have Christmas tin sets. My mom has a whole bunch! One is a really nice red set with Santa on it and it's very sparkly. It came with a set of four tins, each a different size with the same cover. They are so cute.
Dollar stores or Michael's are good choices. They even have little chinese take-out boxes decorated with holiday motiffs. :-D
I'm not a mom but my Grandma has been baking cookies and giving them away for as long as I can remember. She puts them in decoartive tin round boxes or simple cardboard boxes.
She buys her's at target but I asked her and she says you can buy the above (and plastic holiday decorating containers) at the following stores:
Walmart
Kmart
BJ's
Sams Club
Christmas Tree Shop
Carlee's
Walgreens
Dollar Stores
Have fun baking!
