Kid friendly appetizers?!

Question: My husband and I are hosting Christmas this year and plan to have several children spending the night Christmas Eve. We are planning on serving dinner around 4 P.M. and are afraid the children will be starved by then; any suggestions on snacks or appetizers to serve the kids, that are not to heavy, while awaiting the other guests.

Well, you can make festive mini hot dogs or festive party pizza! Here are the recipes: http://www.grouprecipes.com/17419/party-...

And for the Pizza, you could use green food coloring on the dough so its Christmas colors, and you can do the same thing for the mini hot dogs! Or you could use red and green for the mini hot dogs.

Cheese and crackers, raw veggies with dip, Chex-Mix

id say something like goldfish or grahmcrackers. hope ur partys fun!

crackers with cheese spread or marmite kids love that.

pigs in a blanket are yummy and very easy to do just buy Pillsbury Cresant rolls and follow directions on the can all you need are some hotdogs

fresh fruit skewers
veggies and ranch
pretzels
cheese and crackers
kids love olives and pickles
ants on a log
chex mix

If they had lunch @ noon or so they shouldn't be too starving by 4:00. I'd say cookies & milk or a cupcake. Would be a really good time to make some neat cookies or cupcakes. Of course pigs in a blanket & raw vege's & ranch dressing are always good. Don't want them getting too full.

mini pigs and a blanket
cheese, salmi, cracker
popcorn
lil meatballs (stuffed with gooey cheese!)

stuffed eggs, pickles, olives, veggie sticks and pieces [raw] with ranch dressing...crackers and cheese, cream cheese wraps

those arnotts lion biscuits. or make some choc chip biscuits or muffins they taste good. :)
