What are your favorite party foods?!
Answers: I am throwing a Pure Romance party, (AKA Sex toy party) and I am having about 20 girls over. I am serving jello shots, margaritas, and jello shots. What types of food do you think would go over well for a big group of women?
With Jell-O shots and margaritas, I'm inspired to go TexMex - mini-chimis, quesadillas, salsa and chips, fajita skewers, things like that.
I do a lot of catering for women's events, and these types of foods are things I can't keep on the platters - expecially the mini-chimis.
I also like putting a little twist on the classics, so if you want to make it a little elegant and unique, and aren't afraid of the kitchen, make homemade crostinis (sliced baguette brushed with olive oil and toasted in the oven) and top them with a smear of goat cheese, then top that with just about any kind of homemade salsa (I especially like this with a roasted red, yellow, and orange bell pepper topping - roast the peppers in the oven till they get carmelized).
Sounds (and will look) elegant, but is really quite simple.

Li'l Smokies wrapped in bacon with a nice BBQ/jelly/brown sugar sauce. Very phallic :) and tasty! Easy to make to feed a crowd.
mmm my favorite Hors d'oeuvres, well lets see.... cheese, perreroni and crackers, fruit platter, with a strawberry yogurt dip, a veggie platter with a knorrs vegetable dip, tortillas and salsa... these are some healthy alternatives to chips and dips,
Like toffee apples but toffee cherries? When it's a drinking night I like finger foods..pastry, wings!

I like those little Toasts toped by caviars, melting Tuna, cheese with ham or Turkey and The little Soirée sweets little ones I like all kinds "you know like in cocktail parties, so little that you keep going on to pick one more...
