Would you consider having ribs for Christmas Dinner?!

Question: I've been racking my brains on something different to have for Christmas Dinner and am considering having Bar-B-Que ribs for Christmas Dinner...

So, what do ya'll think? How does Bar-B-q ribs, homemade baked beans and homemade potato salad sound for Christmas Dinner?

I'm sick to death of turkey and don't want to see no more of that nasty stuff or a ham either...lol

Great idea!
Throw in some slaw and/or steamed broccoli with cheese sauce/butter to balance it out for carb counters.

Add plain pound cake or apple/peach pie/cobbler and
top with ice cream for dessert;

or just set up a banana split or sundae bar;

or have an old fashioned ice cream float!

Oh, and how about some hot home made bread, yeast or buttermilk... for any hollow spots that might be left ?
Yummy with butter and jelly or honey.

"Cause it sounds like you love to cook! : )

Sure! If that's what you want for your Christmas Dinner, go right ahead! It is a little untraditional, but variety is always welcomed. Almost everyone has ham or turkey for a Christmas Dinner, so try something new! I think tacos, enchiladas, pasta, and ribs are fine. If the people you invited like them, why not?

What time will it be ready?

Most excellent! Anything I wouldn't have to cook or clean up after sounds good.

Sure.Why not?
If you're tired of ham and turkey,go ahead and have whatever you'd enjoy.
There are no rules that it has to be ham or turkey.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Ribs sound delish! Baked beans are my favorite, but knowing the traditional family I com from, they probably wouldn't go for anything but the usual turkey/ham meal. And some good homemade rolls and butter and some cherry pie! Happy Christmas!

Hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! That's a great idea for Xmas supper, man!!! As a matter of fact I'll bring the corn bread, buddy.

Bar-B-Q ribs, homemade baked beans and homemade potato salad for Christmas Dinner?

Sounds delightful ... Enjoy!

No, I'm a pretty traditional person. And besides, I love turkey.
