Anyone got any good ideas for my awesome Lost season premiere party?!
Label eating stations around your house the names of the stations on the island like "The Swan", and crap...I can't think of the others.
You can cut out the characters from magazines and the Internet to decorate the house with.
You can assign a guest a character, and if that character has a flashback scene, they drink-or put in the hot seat, or whatever.
Make bets as to whether Charlie lives or dies as soon as your guests enter the house-and then post the results at the end of the show.
I bet if you post your question on the many Lost message boards out there, you'll get a greater response from die hard fans. Good luck! Sounds liek you're off to a great start planning an awesome party.
Answers: Label all your paper plates, napkins, eating utensils, and practically everything in your house including toilet paper "Dharma Initiative", especially the peant butter!

They are on a tropical island so I'd be thinking luau type food. fruit skewers stuck into a pineapple half. Shrimp cocktail with a sweet-n-sour or teriyaki sauce. Coconut rice, roasted pork loin with hoisin sauce. Chicken skewers with a mango salsa. Tropical fruit salad or a tropical fruit salad dressing for a green salad with avocado and tropical fruit/s . Fried plantains! Bananas Foster for dessert or coconut pudding or cake. Macadamia nut brownies made with brown sugar and coconut. Pineapple upside down cake.
If you are into games, and/or want to have some "ice breaker" activities, create a trivia game around things that happened on the show or about the actors; create a word search using the character names; hide an object or prize somewhere and give clues throughout the party, etc... A good ice breaker (if you are having lots of people who might not know everyone else) is to pick a theme (in this case, the show) and get some labels and write the names of characters or places on them. As people enter, or after everyone is there, put a label on each person's back. The object of the game is to guess who or what is on your label. Players can only ask "yes" or "no" questions of someone else who has looked at their label, and if they get two "nos" from someone, they have to move to another person to ask questions. The first person to guess wins, but people usually want to keep playing until they get theirs. I've used this same game for various parties (bridal and baby showers, halloween, valentine's, st paddy's day, cinco de mayo, christmas and new years parties...you can adapt it to anything) and people really enjoy it. Have fun!
