Snacks for cricket boys?!
Answers: ok this arvo im off to watch my man and his mates play cricket... i told them ill bring up some snacks etc for them to eat.. any ideas wat i could take? i dont mind cooking... but it would have to be somethin that they can eat relatively cold cos its about 10 mins away...any suggestions of savoury and sweet stuff?
baked potato skins with sour cream,crispy bacon&sweet chilli sauce.
mini spring rolls with lime/sweet chilli dipping sauce
beef&sultana ampanadas with warm mango salsa
Zuchini/sweet potato rosti with horseradish cream&smoked salmon
Mixed satays(kebabs)(chick.beef,fish ect)with peanut sauce
Mini-anything burgers.Smoked chick&cheese platter(poppy seed crackers&sliced pears&apple as well)
antipasto platter.
I think i gave you a couple of ideas,try them out>I promise you,they're yummy&easy to prep.
make some sangas or sausage rolls they will stay warm if you put some foil over them
hot wings.....get a bottle of Frank's Red Hot sauce and follow the recipe on the back...it's awesome.
