Is anyone else as happy as I am, that Tis the season of sweet chestnuts?!

Question: I don't think I've tasted sweet chestnuts, but I'd be open to try... would they go well with the eggnog in my coffee? Sounds like it would. :-)

Oh yes, and fresh coconut cake, pumpkin pie, persimmon pudding, refrigerator fruitcake, carrot cake, chocolate meringue pie (homemade, Not bought), fruit pies, cookies: bar, shaped, dropped, rolled, stove topped; etc.
