Bartending a house party tomorrow night - any specialty drinks I need to know?!

Question: You should perfect one drink, but if you want to offer many think about the alcohol you will have.
If something like whiskey, Jack & Coke is pretty popular.
Tequila or Vodka? Add Orange juice.
Rum and coke is a pretty popular one too.
Red Bull and Jager makes Jager Bombs.
Seagrams 7 and Seven up makes Seven & Sevens [mighty delish if you ask me]
It all depends on what you will be serving.
Just do yourself a favor and choose things that are easy to make. I personally made white russians ALOT when I bartended for house parties. But then again I've studied bartending and mixology, so even the harder concoctions were simple.
Keep in mind the quality of the alcohol you are using. If you buy cheap whiskey or tequila or vodka and don't mix drinks properly, people will know it and do one of two things.
1) Complain about their drink and want more and more and more because you messed up one time and now you "owe" them.
2) Not drink anymore and potentially leave the party

Keep in mind also, not all people like hard liquor so offer beer for the most part.

One more thing about house parties. I used to live in a college town so this comes first hand, from lots of parties and one run in with police visiting. If for any reason you decide to sell this alcohol you are tending. [Like you charge someone three dollars for a cup to a keg, or a $1.50 for a shot of Jack Daniels] DO NOT POST IT ANYWHERE. It comes from your mouth, not from a sign. It is absolutely 100% illegal to sell alcohol without a liquor license, and punishable by jail time, and major fines [I'm talking atleast $500, but more like $1000s]
And if you happen to have a minor or two [or more] make it absolutely known to them that once they are in the house, they stay in the house. If they walk out of the house and they've been drinking, they go elsewhere. (Minors tend to bring attention not needed to a party because they like to go in and out of doors)
Hope this helps.

By the way, if you plan on doing this a lot, invest in a bartending book. Barnes & Noble sells "The Little Black Drink Book" for like $12 and its VERY informative.

"Cow juice on heavy ice" is a great fun non alcoholic drink. You need access to some freezer space and hour before you make this drink. Put some ice cubes in a glass cup, rinse the ice cubes really fast and drain the excess water, leave the ice cubes in the cup in the freezer until the ice sticks to the bottom of the glass, when you are ready to make the drink remove the glass with the ice cubes stuck to the bottom and pour half cold seven up and half milk. Serve with a smile. I made one for an engineer and he had a hard time trying to figure out why the ice did not float. I teased him and said I used heavy water. We all had a big laugh when the ice started to float. The secret is out so enjoy your party.

Bay Breeze be sure to have some coconut rum on hand!
