Im having an 18th birthday party next week but what buffet food should i serve? any ideas?!

Question: Get a chocolate fountain.

Once thats up and running no one will care what other food you have anyway.

Happy birthday!

Okay. My wife just gave me a slap (she doesnt like chocolate, weird I know, but?)

Buffet food should be small easy to handle finger food.

Avoid chicken drumsticks or anything really greasy.

sausage rolls, Chicken gougons (or fish), sandwiches.

Remember and cater for any vegitarians coming as well (my wife again)

Crisps, nachos, Pork pies, Cocktail sausages on sticks, quiche, anything you like really.

And a chocolate fountain. Honest Its worth it!

Iceland do loads of cheap put in the oven party food.

Have a great Bday!

how many people are coming to your party?if you go to icelands you will be able to get things from there all youll have to do is put them in the oven, also do different trays of butties, its your day you do what food you like.enjoy the party god wish i was 18 again

Keep it simple and down to nibbles and things on sticks.
At a birthday party everyone will be drinking, not eating.
Serve everything on paper plates and plastic glasses, so at the end you can scoop the lot into a bin liner.

Heres a good item: Tater Tot Casserole- Take some good ground beef (2#) and brown it. Season it well while browning. Use some kosher salt, black pepper and garlic (Fresh or granulated) . Once it is browned drain it well. Do not put this grease down the drain because when its cold it will become solid then we have to answer another question "How do I get this drain un-clogged?" Take the beef and mix in one can of cream of celery soup. This mixture shoudl go into a pyrex baking dish. Add some peas and carrots on top covering the beef in one layer. Place the tots (Frozen) on top of the peas and carrots.Stack them so that they are standing on end not laying down. Now add sliced Velveta cheese on top of the tots. Bake this sucker in the oven at 350 for about 10 minutes or untill the tots are cooked. You can make these up a couple of days in advance and hold them in the cooler so you can look like a superstar when you pull it out for the party. Everyone I know that has tried this has loved it. You can even serve lettuce, tomato and onion on the side for a topping. Oh yeh make sure to have a bottle of ketchup near for those who want it.
Have a great party.

If i were you i think i should made tradition plus a little squeze of modern food and before i forgot ...................

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU .........

hope you got a merry good day ........................p.s (do not over thinking about it .....it might ruin you happy day .....)

Apart from the usual, what about having a pot of something hot like chilli or curry and buying some little plastic bowls and spoons that can be thrown away after. It would be nic eto have somethinghot this time of year.
