I did a dinner party were I served up some twisted appetizers and it was fun. Guests loved the combinations and the fact that it was a fun twist on some classics. I made buffalo chicken and blue cheese fried won tons (think crab rangoons meet chicken wings), and bacon and scallop brushettas, spinach and artichoke stuffed tomatoes and things like that.
But, I would go with what is fun and simple to make for you. Christmas parties should be comfortable and fun for not just your guests but you too!
