first you get some egg nog not just regular egg nog Jamacan egg nog u can buy it in new york , next for h'orderves have little ham and cheese crakers on a cirluar pan and then have christmas sugar cookies on the other side of the pan as well, thridly , for the main course have something ethic like spanish food for example or have a cataered dish .

maake cinnamon sticks!

corn

Everyone seems to like the 3 layer dip we make.
Layer cream cheese, chili, and cheddar cheese in a baking dish, heat it up, and you are done.

Just make sure you make enough food so people don't go hungry!

Cupcakes with all kinds of sparkly decorations on top might be cute with h'orderves too.

finger foods all kinds just make them fun

A Mexican fiesta is always fun.
Taquitos, quesadilla triangles, Nachos, Guacamole dip, Mango Salsa. Use different colored chips for somthing different. They come in blue and red.
This type of food is easy to prepare and a filling food to serve to guests.
Create a tray with many toppings such as: jalepeno peppers, grated cheese, diced tomatos, sliced black olives, diced onions and shredded lettuce.
You may also serve sides of rice and beans. Have the beans and rice already scooped out and put into little bowls/cups with small spoons. It makes it more easier somtimes instead of having to put it in their plates..
For sweets, you can serve churros, and flan
Good Luck and Have fun.

Ok for appetizers what about Deviled eggs (Hard boiled eggs), Baked brie and fruit (You just buy brie cheese and microwave it with some jelly and you serve it with apples and grapes), a Vegetable tray with blue cheese dressing and hummus, Shrimp Cocktail (with cocktail sauce), Swedish Meatballs (You need a bag of frozen meatballs from the supermarket mixed with grape jelly and heinz chilli sauce- its delicious). Since you dont want pizza, maybe you can do pizza bagels. You can even make them yourself to make them more gourmet. You can make them with english muffins actually or you could make them with frozen tiny bagels- just add tomato sauce and cheese and toast them in the oven, you can also have pigs in a blanket -little hot dogs. Another cute and nice thing is to get some spinach dip and a round big bread. You cut a circle in the bread to make a hole and add the spinach dip. Then you take the part of the bread you cut out and make it into squares. You could also do a cheese fondue. You need a fondue pot and you can melt swiss cheese and you can dip breads and veggies. Also, your parents can buy you a chocolate fountain for dessert. I know some of these appetizers maybe older then your age group, but you said sophisticated. Hope you like them and Good luck!
