Well My Aunt Bday Was the 23rd of November and We Thru Her A Get Together.It Was Well Over 20 People And We All Stood Around & Some Sat Around Talkin & Drinking..Everyone enjoyed themselves even her.What I Did Was, I Told My Aunt I Wanted To Taker Her Out To A Club In NY And Im From CT So She Was Hyped About Going Cuz I Been Tellin Her About It Forever.(She Loves To Party && She's 39).Dont Look It A Bit. But However She Got Dressed Up (She Lives 8mins Away) And Her Daughter Kept Stauling her Because she was the babysitter(her daughter) But Anyways When She Finally Got Here..All The Lights Were Off Because I Told Her Earlier that day i might run to the mall.Everyone said Surpriseee and she fell out. She Loved it!!

You can do a theme based on the type of food - ie: mexican, Italian, French, or Greek.
So, if you serve mexican food, it's a fiesta and decorate with red,green & white, serve Margarita's etc. Only you can get much more creative.
Or make it a wine tasting party, or an 'era' party (ie: 80's, 70's).
