Holiday parties are usually in the evening, so appetizers are big.
I serve cocktail sausages (lil smokies) in a sauce made of grape jelly and BBQ sauce. I also like stuffed mushroom caps with cheese on the top.
Sounds like a teenage party if you are serving brownies.
