What's your planning for the menu of christmas dinner?!

Question: Roast carcass (of which type I don't know yet, last year it was cow and duck)

Crunchy roast spuds, roast parsnips, tons of stuffing, yorkie puds, carrots, brussel sprouts (why do we only eat them at Xmas??) and some pigs in blankets finished off with LASHINGS OF GRAVY!

*drool* now I'm hungry!

Turkey this year.

Full trimmings.

Quite boring really.

Whole leg of lamb in rosemary and garlic,,,

Well, we have some veggies in our family sooooo...

- Fried sage-flavoured tofu
- Turkey, roasted
- Sausage stuffing
- Vegetarian stuffing with lots of butter and herbs
- Fresh green beans
- Jellied cranberries
- Mashed potatoes with green onions
- Butternut squash
- Pumpkin pie
- Apple pie
- Red wine

same as what i always eat mash an more mash

So far I'm planning on
Beer glazed bone-in ham
Garlic cream cheese mashed potatoes
Homemade stuffing
Bacon gravy
Mixed green salad with balsamic vinaigrette and feta
Maybe asparagus with holladaise
Maybe something else

There's only 2 of us, so I don't want to go too overboard.

For Christmas Eve, I'm planning on making "Persian meatballs" (lamb meat) on a bed of basmati rice and a yogurt sauce goes over the meatballs and rice. I'll have a salad to go with that too.
I'm not sure what I'm doing for the rest of the Christmas holidays. If I have people over, maybe I'll do a crown roast of pork.

We usually don't do Christmas dinner, we have everyone over on Christmas Eve, and usually do appetizers, with a different soup starring each year. Nice hearty soups... this year it's baked potato soup, last year it a chicken tortilla, and the year before that, tomato basil with cheese crostinis... yum!!

the plan is a veggie xmas with me and mine
