Question: Okay so im 15 and im going to a party that i will bartending at for the first time ever!
im really excited. And im practicing all of the drinks. but
what should i wear?
i was thinking my tall blue boots, will a black short skirt, leggins or tight and black v-neck shirt.

Yep the black and white theme is definatley the go normally, but if this is a fun, non alcoholic event for one of your friends and the parents are there etc why not join the fun - hire a female santa suit! If the skirt is too short grab some red or white leggings. Just wear flat comfy shoes incase you end up standing up all night.
You will be part of the fun whist performing your duty and still "be noticed"

i am not sure i really dont like this blue boots idea

Black always seems to go down well with the bar staff in some of the trendy London bars.... and hairdressers but hey, I digress

hold up, why are you tending bar if you are only 15?

The classic look for bartenders is black pants or skirt (not too short) and either a black or nice white shirt. If you want to add a splash of color, go with a red belt or scarf. Remember that you will be mixing drinks, so, avoid flowing sleeves or long hair down.

Have fun!

A professional bartender would wear a white tuxedo blouse, black pants and a black bow tie.

If you are serving drinks, whether alcoholic or not, DO NOT wear anything short, tight or sexy.

You are already making yourself a target for evil male attention by making the drinks, don't draw any more attention to yourself.

I'd suggest a sparkly holiday sweater and your black leggings, as long as your sweater is long enough to cover your rear even when you stretch up or bend over.

Men will say all kinds of really rough and suggestive things to females serving or making drinks. Best of luck, sweetie.
