How to bring lots of hot cocoa from point A to point B?!

Question: I need to somehow transport hot cocoa to my daughters class for their party. I have no thermos & it needs to stay warm. I thought of a crockpot but that would be messy. 30 kids worth of cocoa...

I guess I could put boiling water in 2 water jugs...it would gradually cool to safe temp.....any ideas?

Does Starbucks sell mass quantities of hot cocoa?

At any school, teachers drink gallons of coffee. See if you can use a couple of large coffee makers. If not, got to starbucks and you can get the ten cup size of hot drinks. I know they do it for coffee, not sure if they do hot cocoa like that but hey maybe if you ask nicely?

number 1, starbucks is a rip off.
number 2, make cocoa at point b.

like SS said...ask where you can make hot water-the teachers lounge may have a hot water/boiling water faucet installed for themselves.Or get some of those/borrow some hot water electric makers that just boil water quickly.Bring the mix and cups etc with you ,marshmallows etc and do all the hot boiling mixing etc right on the spot.

Swallow it, then poop it out.

If you don't want to buy or borrow a couple of thermos flasks, then try using the large plastic milk containers. They will take a surprisingly high temp of water/milk. Fill them as hot as you can, wrap in newspaper then a towel (or similar) Put into carrier bags and that should get you there.

I guarantee you that the teacher's lounge has at least one coffee maker and likely several. A simple note to your child's teacher (or a phone call) should make one available long enough in the lounge for you to drip through a pot of plain water.

have you talked to the school to see if their cafeteria is open?
do you have a microwave small enough to transport it?
you could call starbucks and talk to their manager and see if they are willing to give you a group discount....
if it was me.... I would go to the store and buy really cute cups, bring the microwave and heat up the cocoa, put whip cream on top and a candy cane as garnish...
