Menu ideas for Wii party with friends??!

Question: I'm having a Wii party with maybe about 15 people on New Years and I want to have food that is easy for me to prepare and not be stuck in the kitchen messing with. Something that can be a buffet. I was thinking of a taco bar. Is that a bad idea? All the fixins for tacos and everyone make their own tacos. Or burritos too. Any other suggestions?

I would suggest little triangle tuna or chicken sandwiches with chips on the side and or celery sticks it wont be alot of mess then and you could add some dessert like cupcakes

yeah we actually had a taco bar for our party last year and it went really well another idea is have everyone bring something and that way your not stuck doing everything!

I had a wii party, it was fun, i made fried chicken fingers from breasts, mini strip steaks with blue cheese dips, gacomole creme fraiche dip with for the ground flank steak torilla chips, mini pizza and macncheese.

Go with foods that can be easily eaten with one hand so people aren't getting food on the wii remotes. Taco's sound a little messy. I sure people will like it, but I think you'll have people discontinue playing wii when the remote is covered in grease.

How bout things like pigs in a blanket, sliced lamb chops(can be eaten just by holding the rib, stuffed mushrooms, etc?

I would have mini everything. Mini meatballs in red sauce or BBQ sauce, mini sandwiches....

One night we had a "Wii and Brie" party! We had brie, pesto and french bread. It's best to serve something that's not too greasy or sticky so when people are using the controllers they don't get dirty.
