Why do people love turkey for their Christmas dinner?!

Question: Personally it's because I don't eat it at any other time of year so by the time Christmas comes around I've forgotten what it's like.

I don't know, I would rather have goose. I think it has so much flavour

Enjoy your xmas

we usually do 3 kinds of meat at christmas turkey. beef, and pork, only because not everyone likes the same thing.

tradition above all

I love it because it's something we only make twice a year (thanksgiving and christmas) and it goes well with all of the different sides...and lots for leftovers! yummy!

It is healthy compared to ham. It feeds a lot of people. Turkey isn't just for Thanksgiving anymore. lol

It's becoming a tradition - advertizing. and if they have a lot of people to serve then it's inexpensive.

We have Ham at Easter, Turkey at Thanksgiving and Prime Roast Beef for Christmas.

I don't like turkey.I always have goose which used to be the most popular bird to have at Christmas, but in the 50's turkeys started to get mass produced and became very popular and i think people have turkey just because they think it is traditional and people like a traditional Christmas!!!!
