Party at hotel?!
I was thinking of having it at a hotel... Do you know if all hotels have a room big enough for a lot of people? Let's say... 200. would they let me have a party there?
I have no idea if i'm even going to go through with this.. i have 2 years to make my decision but i just want to prepare. i want to have a masquerade
Answers: Currently, I'm 14 and I'm starting to plan my sweet sixteen. I need TWO years to come up with the money.

Ballrooms can accomodate up to 200 in most cases...but call local hotels to see if they have can fit that many kids. Don't forget to sample the food at the hotels...you don't want to have the party at the large hotel with the disgusting food, etc.
If there's booze with that many people you're guaranteed to have your party fall apart. Have your parents help you identify a place and help allocate the funds you save. As a side note I'd like to bring to your attention that no one. Absoloutley no one had crazy sweet 16 parties until that stupid show came on the T.V. and if you work your butt off for two years and throw it all away on this party then you are just a tool of the TV and have absoloutley no identity that you can claim of your own. In a very direct sence you'll be making yourself a slave of a programming idea that some pot smoking kids fresh out of a community college came up with in a think room in hollywood while they were playing dungeons and dragons.
