Why do people over indulge on holiday and party food?!

Question: I am feeling the pain... I know better... Why did I keep eating the fudge when I knew that one peice was more than enough?
I really don't understand why i did that and now my stomach hurts and I know that i will gain weight.....

Any insights?

It isn't nice to laugh at another's distress, but I am sitting over here making little hee, hee noises ...

I can see you forgot to learn the lesson from the bags of candy after Hallowe'en. When around those temptations, you follow the see food diet - see food, eat food ...

Ah, compulsion, Thy Name is Fudge ... did you leave any for ME?

Because its holiday time, and its festive and fun. When its holiday time, people arent trying to worry about health, and how much you are eating and all that jazz.

because calories from holiday food don't count.
Just kidding. It's the atmosphere, the feeling like a kid again, and the feeling that you can let yourself go for a day. Plus, many people only make some recipes once a year.
Don't worry, if you are careful otherwise and work out, one day of binging won't do any harm.

when on hols (psychologically) tend to either go total fitness or total yob, I'm the latter, i work soooooo hard through out the year, and when hols come i want to be treated and waited on and enjoy all.
tis my wind down and i come back overweight lol....
