Answers: Is beer also a kind of wine, please motivate any given answer.

beer=something stupid people drink

A fermented alcoholic beverage brewed from malt and flavored with hops. Is not wine because wine is made from fermented grapes...

Beer is the Soda of people over 18. Wine is the juice of people over 25.

Beer = fermented/hops
Wine = fermented/grapes

Both are somewhat stupid in my opinion.

Beer is made from (among others) malted barley, hops, yeast, and water.
Wine is made exclusively from grapes and yeast – though so-called “rice wine” and “barley wine” exists (though the process of these two are closer to beer than to wine). Very seldom are other things added to wine – esp water.
Wine is very commonly aged in barrels and casks before bottling. This very seldom happens with beer, which is bottled directly after the fermentation process.
Wines are broadly defined in terms of colour –red or white, and then further broken down by the variety of grape used – Cabernet, Shiraz, etc, while beer is defined by its brewing process – Ale, Lager, Lambiek, etc.
Beer is fizzy, by definition – the fermenting process carbonises the beer and leaves a “head” when poured. Wine is more often than not non-carbonated, with the notable exception of champagne/sparkling wine – which foams, but never leaves a head.
Mass market wines commonly have alcohol levels of 10-15% (typically 12.5%) by volume, beer 3-6% by volume (typically. 5%)
At the end of the day – wine is very far removed from beer, the only thing they have in common is that they both contain alcohol. The essential difference is what they are made of – Barley and hops vs grapes.
If you want to make further comparisons to hard tack – beer is closer to whisky - not bourbon! - (both made out of malted barley), and wine is closer to brandy (both made out of grapes).
