I seen it mentioned many times here, now I'm hoping someone can tell me, what is "Boxing Day"?!

Question: Well I have heard that it was celebrated in England as the day after Christmas to open presents. They used Christmas day to think about the real meaning of Christmas and just chose the day after to open the gifts.
