Surprise Birthday Party Questions...?!
Answers: Just a few questions since i've never thrown one. I am throwing a a surprise 40th birthday party for my boyfriend. Some of the questions i have are, how early are the guests supposed to arrive? Is a month enough notice to invite people?
month is enough time- have the guests arrive anywhere from 1/2 - 1 hour before hand in order to surprise the person. I had one for my mom and just put on the invite "Time: 6:30 - please be prompt in order to surprise her!" and they all were there on time!
You should let people know about 3 mths in advance so they don't plan anythin for that person(like takin them out for diner). The party should a place where you can take your boyfriends and he won't suspect.
Keep your boyfriend away from that place; if its at your house ... have his friends take him out while u prepare everything
Guess should arrive 30 minutes before. A month is enough lead time.
Guests shud arrive earlier then yor boyfriend comes they shud be there to surprise him when he comes.i think that time is more than enough & u shud give a reminder call a week br the birthday party too :)
a month is perfect notice that way you have tons of time to have all your guests down and ideas for what you will do
guests are usually supposed to arive maybe 45minutes before that way it gives them plenty of time to get there and gives you plenty of time to set up
good luck
My mom threw a surprise party for my dad's 40th when I was a kid. I don't remember much, but here goes:
Let people know about a month and a half in advance.
It's great if you can keep the party preperations at a friend's house, where your boyfriend won't look.
Have one of your boyfriend's best friends take him out somewhere before the party, so the guests will have enough time to arrive.
