Someone is throwing us a stock the bar party for our wedding. What do people bring to these kinds of parties?!

Question: Just alcohol? Or can they bring other stuff like cocktail shakers, ice buckets, bottle openers and strainers?

my riends just threw my one they can bring anything that would typically found at a bar liquor beer shot glasses orange juice olives etc and congratz on the wedding

I am so jealous! I want a party like this! Way cool idea!!!!

Generally, anything that would be found behind a bar can be brought. It is best to bring things that people would like, but not necessarily buy for themselves. For example, it would be nicer to bring a cordial or liqueur than just basic vodka.

sounds like you have some great friends! i imagine they would bring alcohol as well as all the accoutrement that go with bartending!

All the above , plus 2 "blonds" to mix,and serve the drinks at the party. "Shaken --- Not Stirred"

You have very clever friends to come up with this idea. I'm sure you'll get everything you mentioned, plus glassware, drink mixes, coasters, wine charms, bartenders guide, recipe books for mixing different drinks, different wines and every kind of alcohol imaginable. Watch someone give you the wine glass that holds a whole bottle of wine. Sounds like a fun party!

bring whatever you want for the bar- I made a little basket of inexpensive bar items found at the discount liquor store like fancy toothpicks, little paper umbrellas, jar of olives, jar of cherries- stuff like that. maybe get some Martini mixes also- they will get a lot of booze!!
