Does anyone have any simple, easy, and good christmas horderves recipes?!

Question: Thanks for your input...Happy Holidays :)

Answers: Thanks for your input...Happy Holidays :)

I made these for Thanksgiving and I was told to bring them to Christmas as well. I used diced green chilies instead because some of my family doesn't like it as hot as I do. They turned out incredible!! I made a double batch for Thanksgiving and they were gone in about a half an hour! I am making a quadruple batch for Christmas!!

How about stuffed mushroom with your favorite stuffing or ham with a delicious artichoke dip.

Stuffed mushrooms are always a plus. Here is a recipe, hope this helps.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

INGREDIENTS
12 whole fresh mushrooms
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Carefully break off stems. Chop stems extremely fine, discarding tough end of stems.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and chopped mushroom stems to the skillet. Fry until any moisture has disappeared, taking care not to burn garlic. Set aside to cool.

When garlic and mushroom mixture is no longer hot, stir in cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, onion powder and cayenne pepper. Mixture should be very thick. Using a little spoon, fill each mushroom cap with a generous amount of stuffing. Arrange the mushroom caps on prepared cookie sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the mushrooms are piping hot and liquid starts to form under caps.

Ritz Crackers topped with cheese and bruschetta - microwave for a few seconds to melt the cheese..

chips and your favorite dip

Nothing is easier than cheese and crackers (the really good quality ones, not velveeta on saltines).
Go to the gourmet section of your grocery store. They prolly have smoked salmon, brie, mixed olives, sausage sticks, etcetera. Get Carrs crackers or other nice kind.
Also, go to your frozen food section and get the mini-quiches and other frozen hors dourves that you can heat and serve.
Yes, easy and fool proof is the best, and it really doesn't cost that much more for the convenience.

You can't go wrong with a cheese platter. If you want something to pass around, buy some frozen filo tart shells, most grocery stores carry them, and fill them with you favorite chicken salad.

You can toast up thin slices of french baguette (bread, found in bakery section, just ask for it), brush first with olive oil or use flavored Pam spray, garlic is good. Then lay them on a cookie sheet and toast at 400 degrees until crispy and golden brown. Make a tomato brushetta to serve on the toast.
I suggest starting with a pound of ripe roma tomatoes, cut lengthwise and remove and discard the seeds with a spoon. Dice tomato into small pieces and mix with a tablespoon or so of extra virgin olive oil, a splash of balsamic vinegar, a dash of kosher salt, a bit of fresh ground black pepper and some fresh basil leaves chopped. Top the toasts just prior to serving.

little weenies or frozen meatballs in a crock pot with one jar jellied cranberry sauce and one jar chili sauce
shrimp dip- layer one pkg cream cheese on plate, top with one jar cocktail sauce, arrange precooked cold small shrimp on top, serve with crackers
taco dip is always a fav- mix 2 pkgs cream cheese and one small container sour cream and 1-2 pkgs taco seasoning-spread on cookie sheet or larger serving dish- top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese, black olives, green onion- serve with good tortilla chips (always the first to go at my parties!!)
