Is "fondue" an item you would serve at the holidays? Or is it out of?!

Question: favor?

Answers: favor?

Fondue is making a comeback, and for good reason! Don't skimp when buying the cheese, get the best gruyere or other aged swiss you can find, if doing cheese fondue. Good firm dense textured bread too. Go for it!

I think as an appetizer fondue could be nice. But I guess it depends on what you are making - cheese? chocolate?

Not out of it at all! It's made a comeback.....for the holidays tho, I'd do dessert....like a choclate fondue.....dip in cookies, chunks of cake....fruit...have whipped cream & sprinkles.....it's a leisurely, fun way to kick back after the ham or turkey & be a kid again!

you can serve whatever you'd like. Cheese fondue or a chocolate fondue would be a nice added addition!

I remember the fondue rage.I'm that old?Ha.
Oh well, It's a classic.
Do it with style. Why not have a few different fondues, according to the theme of your party with different tastes and texures.A sweet fondue, a cheesy fondue.
I would also ask my guests ahead of time if they had any food allergies or preferences.
Happy Entertaining.

Fondue is only out of favor for the non hip crowd. It is a very good way to get your guests all surrounded by a common interest, and gets the party going.
