What is a fun homemade thing to make besides play-doh for kids??!

Question: How about some large bubbles, Add about a cup of dish soap to 1/12 cups of water. Use a paper towel roll to blow the bubbles. I have blown 3 foot bubbles with this method. Unfortunately the towel rolls only last about 20 minutes if that.

Here's a link for a ton of stuff. My fav is the "growing crystals".

When I was in first grade, our teacher made Ooblek. It's from Dr. Seuss I think, and it was green, I think made with cornstarch and water. It was liquid at first, and the longer you played with it, it would become solid. But as soon as you let go of it, it would drip right through your fingers. So you'd start balling it up again. It was really neat.

MESS !!!!!!

Flour dough (flour + water). Safe & non toxic. Colour dye can be added too!
