Is it okay to make a fruit salad the night before or will it all go brown?!

Question: I have strawberries, melons, kiwi, blueberries, pineapple and papaya. If I make it tonite, will it still be good to serve tomorrow?

Should be even better the next day because the flavors will blend. Brush lemon juice lightly on apples or pears so they do not turn brown. Bananas should be added just prior to serving.

i think itd be fine. just pour some lemon juice over it and it will help it from going brown. :D

Yes. Add a little lemon or lime juice to keep any of the cut fruit from going brown or wilty, and make sure you keep it under plastic wrap in the refrigerator.

Yes. In fact, it might taste better having blended overnight.

Leave out the bananas and add some lemon juice.

That should do it.

no make the morning of the event or a few hours before.

Yes it is no problem. As a matter of fact letting those fruits set together overnight will make it even more tasty and flavorful. :) Oh yes, don't forget to keep it covered

it wont go brown if you add some lemon juice. but it would be better to make it in the morning so it will be fresh.

With those fruits it should be fine overnite. None of them turn brown like apples or bananas.

Those fruits are fine to cut and mix the day before serving. Just make sure they are tightly covered and kept in the fridge.

yes it will b fine to serve the next day , that sounds really good, i want some

Beat the eggs in a sm pan with the sugar, juices, and salt. Turn on the stove and heat over med heat. Add the butter and heat until boiling, stir constantly to keep eggs from separating. Cool completely and mix with whipped topping.

Add whatever fruit you have chosen to use, stir gently. Refrigerate for 12-24 hours before serving.

If you use Bananas, don’t add them more than 6 hrs before serving for best results.

If you use Mini marshmallows, don’t add them till right before serving as they tend to get mushy after a few hours.

do the bananas on the day of the event. but to others just add a little bit of vinagar or lemon juice to keep them from going brown.

if u put presrvers init then ok or not

it would be fine it might turn a little bit brown but it will still taste good it would be better to make it right before but most of the foods you mentioned wont turn brown
