I'm hosting a New Year's Eve party at my house and I'm inviting my family and friends...?!

Question: Usually, this means just drinking, talking, and eating all night. This year, however, I want to have some games. The guests' ages are 25-40. Please give any ideas. Best ones will get 10 points! Low budget, also.

I don't know much about you and your family and how many people are involved, so I will try to cover a broad range of interests

Here are some suggestions.

1.) The mellow crowd. The card game, Euchre. -- Popular in the mid west United States and Canada, it is easy once you learn it and it is very easy to talk while playing.

2.) Slightly spunkier crowd. Do a wine tasting. Buy a few bottles of 6-7 dollar wine and have each person give their thoughts. Or, cheaper, buy bottles of Pepsi, Coke, and some other colas and find out who can tell the difference in blind taste tests.

3.) Active crowd. You are lucky that people are close to the same ages. Maybe try to play some songs and do a 'name that tune' or karaoke. End with a limbo contest.

Hope this helps.
