Girls' night out means Cosmo Night! So, if you're indulging in this exotic alcoholic beverage, you'll need some great food to keep you from getting too inebriated too quickly. Here are some ideas:

1. Go Italian: Nothing heavy, perhaps angel hair pasta with a sauce of mushrooms, fresh basil, tomatos, artichoke hearts and shaved parmesan.
2. Light Mexican: Chicken Tortilla soup with condiments: avocados, sour cream, shredded cheese, fried tortilla strips.
3. Back to Italian: Pesto stuffed mushrooms, fried ravioli with marinara, cheese stix.
4. Greek: Spanokopita, hummus, taramasolata with pita, gyro platter with olives, feta, tszaziki sauce.
5. American: lil smokies wrapped in puff pastry and baked. Serve with barbecue sauce and mustard. Potato skins with bacon, sour cream and chives. Thin slices of steak with horseradish sauce, beefsteak tomatos on baguettes.

Add a vege platter, some fruit kabobs and you have a meal. And, if all else fails, pull out the chips, homemade clam dip, hot artichoke dip etc.!
