I need party planning help...... party experts needed!?!
Answers: I am turning thirteen Jan 7 and am having the party Jan 12. The theme of the party is pretty in pink. the big downside is that I have to have it at a senior center!! Ugggg... i know. But I'm totally excited and really trting to make the best of it. My outfit ( of course ) has to be pink, and I really want it to be the best out of everyone, since I'm the b-day girl, I am short and skinny, ( kinda all around) , and really want something not to expensive and something totally pink and cute. And I am kinda preppy so nothing goth looking. I also want some ideas for music. I want some really good dance songs to get the party pumping. And Does anyone have ideas for pink food? Pretty In Pink Punch:
2 Quarts Tropical Punch, Strawberry Kiwi, or Strawberry Melon soft drink mix, according to package directions.
1 can pineapple juice
2 liter bottle of ginger ale or lemon lime soda
1 half gallon container of vanilla ice cream
Combine all ingredients in punch bowl, and float ice cream on top.
Of course you have to play some music from Pink.
Ideas for party favors: pink nail polish, pink toe separators (for a pedicure), Pink lotion or hand sanitizer (check bath & body for ideas), pink lip gloss, pink jelly beans, pink lollipops

Any veggie or chip dip can be turned pink with a little food coloring. make a punch with strawberry koolaid and 7 up. Rice krispy treats made with food coloring.
Here are a couple of recipes to get you started.
PATTI'S PINK DIP
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
Grated onion
Dash Worcestershire
Ketchup, to turn pink
Soften cream cheese and mix with beater for 5 minutes. Serve with potato chips.
PINK POPCORN SURPRISE
7 c. popped corn
3 c. miniature marshmallows
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
Few drops red food coloring
8 to 10 lollipops
Measure popped corn into large buttered bowl. In top of a double boiler over hot water, heat marshmallows, butter, and salt, stirring frequently, red food coloring. Pour this mixture over the corn in bowl; toss gently to coat. With buttered hands, quickly shape mixture around lollipops into 3 inch balls.
