Whos better at cooking Giada De Larentiis or Rachel Ray????!

Question: Rachel Ray. Her meals are more practicle. You use them on a day to day basis. They are easy and sheap.

Guida is good for a romanic night or a special party... something like that. As for who is Best as a cook? They both have thier own twists on things and cannot be compared...

Rachel Ray

Rachel Ray. No question.

rachel ray

No it is me !

Giada has a culinary degree. Her food is authentic Italian. Rachel throws a bunch of ingredients together. Giada has my vote.

Rachael.

Giada is better looking, so she must be a better cook. :)

I would say Giada because she actually bakes and not a lot of things always contain red meat.

I'd watch Giada scrub potatoes!

GIIIIAAAADDDAAA!!!!!!!

DeLaurentiis trained in France,
Ray has many times admitted she has no culinary education whatsoever, she's "a cook, not a chef".

That's enough for me to decide who'd be better.

I really like Rachel Ray, her recipies are quick and they taste great. Shes also a very happy host, she always in a good mood :)

rachel actually makes things i would really eat. so rachel ray gets my vote.

larentilis

rachel ray is not a chef, she is a dumpy chubby italian woman, I can't stand her.....she is so irritating her whiney voice....

rachael ray justs slaps things together, thats not cooking its assembling. she needs drowning in a big vat of e.v.o.o.

Paula Deen, Bobby Flay or Mario Batali! Giada's recipes aren't always the best, I've tried several. I don't care much for watching RR, she's goofy and can get annoying fast.

According to Rachel Ray she is a cook not a Chef, she never had formal training.Ms De Larentiis is a European trained Chef. In that sense, I would go with Giada. Her food may be more difficult to duplicate but a lot more tasty, in general. I will go with Giada. Keep in mind they each have a place, Rachel Ray does have lots of fans and I very much enjoy watching her show, as well. They are both good, but in a different way.

Giada di Laurentis . . . Rachel Ray makes good food too, but it's mostly quick food, not "gourmet" enough

i think Giada De Larentis is better. she makes authentic Italian dishes that are delicious and easy to prepare. Rachel Ray makes good dishes every now and again, but not on a consistent basis.

Rachel Ray is funny, likes to experiment and encourages others to do so. Every receipe I have tried always is true to her claims. I have used Giada receipes, but some of her ingredients are exotic and sometimes hard to find. Rachel's, I can open my pantry or frig and find just about eveything I need. I also have found lots of her time savers are right on especially about what to keep in stock and how to keep my veggies fresh. Rachel Ray is tops!

Cooking skills, definitely Giada. But I find them both incredibly annoying. Rachel's voice you can only take in small doses and she's too damn perky. And Giada...I'm sorry but I can't trust an Italian cook who is a size 0.

At cooking? Can only be Giada De Laurentis. Rachel is fun and cooks like the rest of us. Giada is a professionally trained chef.
