Party ideas for 20-25 yrs old women!?!
Answers: I stay in a nice apartment a few blocks from my city's entertainment district. I have a patio that can hold 15 comfortably, and the living and dining area are plenty of space. My friends and I can always go out, but sometimes we want to hang out at my place. I need some ideas of parties (don't say slumber party...most stay the night anyway b/c of distance) that can be fun and worth the evening. It would be for 15 or less ladies, occassionaly, we'll invite males, but one step at a time! Ages would range from 20 to 30 years old. I can cook, create things, etc. so my talents and time are not limited.
Oh....so many ideas!!!!! I am 27...so I think these would be appropriate for the age group suggested.
So...basically these are like girl nights?!
-Mexican Fiesta (small finger foods and margaritas and sangria)
-Champagne Party/Bubble Lounge (provide Champagne and different mixers to make different champagne drinks); serve cheese and crackers, fruits, etx....
-Beers or Wines of the World Party (have each guest bring a bottle or wine or a pack of beer from different regions of the world...you assign). Have some taste treats from each of these world areas.
-Game nights are always fun. Provide some snacks and a "signature" cocktail.
-Wine tasting party (have each guest bring a bottle of wine under a certain price point....and bag each bottle and then have a tasting party to see which wine is the winner)!!!!
-"Risque night": play funny adult themed games (like Dirty Minds, etc..) and only have adult named drinks (Sex on the Beach, Slippery Nipples, etc...)
Cooking parties are wonderful, perhaps a fondue party, you might want to show movies, or do scrapbooking...there is so much fun you can have with the girls

Watch old movies. One I'd like to suggest is an old Sandra Dee and Bobby Darin movie----
"If A Man Answers"(1962)
"Breezy romantic comedy chronicles the marital misadventures of rich socialite Sandra Dee and her new husband, photographer Bobby Darin. When Dee starts to feel neglected, her mother suggests she use techniques from a dog obedience training book on her shutter bugging spouse. With Stefanie Powers, Cesar Romero, and Micheline Presle. "
