When you attend parties, do you expect to be fed a full meal regardless if it is a mealtime or not?!

Question: Absolutely not. There are ways to say it in the invitation too. Like "cocktail party" or "wine and cheese party" or dessert party". The time of the party should also indicate to people that appetizers will be served instead of a meal.
have fun at your party!

not

No. If it's not near mealtime, I expect some appetizery stuff only. Not necessarily enough to feed a "full meal" to everyone.

Beggars cannot be choosers plain and simple. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed!

Never. If I am invited to a luncheon or dinner then I expect to have a meal. Other than that, no. The host or hostess may serve a special buffet late in the evening if it's an adult birthday party sometime cake & cookies. If it's simply a fun evening there are usually crudites & dip/s, chips, nuts.

I don't count on a full meal if it's not meal time, but I always expect some sort of finger food or appetizer, especially if alcohol is being served.

The only time you should expect a full meal, is if it's stipulated that the party is a 'dinner party'.

No just snacks and i just kinda do what others do.

nope. you eat socially. that means small bites, and in the mean time, you chat. and "socially" drink.

you should eat before, or bring a dish- like a potluck, and eat from it as much as you please. even they do not specify. no to be burdain on the host, bring your own.

if its a meal time to be polite u should but just a party there should be snacks for god sack!!!!!!!

not unless the invitation explicitly says that it's a lunch/dinner party. Most parties don't have too much food

I do.

not at all

unless it is a sleep over,no
