We're spending evening at my sister's house. We plan to decorate with tons of balloons and streamers. All guests will bring either drinks or an appetizer. I'm making the Martha Stewart Spinach dip. We can't pop fireworks in my sis's area.....so we ring in the New Year by popping all the balloons. While we wait for the New Year, we all talk, eat, play Kareoke and play Mexican Loteria.

Board games are always fun with family, food-wise, I would get ready-made hors deovores (big boxes are available at Costco or BJs), and throw them in the oven.
At my house we put on old music videos and try to figure who sang them we dance and sing karoke we make are favorite hor douvrs. We also play video games that are more interactive like we have a wii and we have tournaments for tennis and bowling that really is fun.
