Do candy canes freeze? Will they still be usable next Christmas?!

Question: We use them to decorate the tree. Does anyone know if they can be frozen and then used next year. We will not be eating them, they are for decoration only.

Don't freeze them, it might make them brittle. Put them in an airtight container, and keep them some place cool and dry (not the attic where they will heat up in the summer) and they'll be fine. Might want to put some padding in there too to keep them from breaking. With good care they'll last a long long time.

probably, i know i never tried it b4 but you can try

cheapo

you don't have to freeze them, if they are in the wrapper they will keep

you can still re-use them next year without freezing them.
just put them in a container alone and they will be fine
if they break though there only $1 a box lol.
