how about a "cozy" party? Serve fondue, cheese with a ton of dippers, a salad and what about some meatballs? then you can serve chocolate fondue w strawberries and other fruit, you could serve wine and or coffee, and make it cozy with a fire or a dip in a hot tub....something cozy!

I have 80s parties with my girlfriends every year when our guys are off hunting- TONS of fun! we dress up, play trivia, have a special prize for best dressed like a movie, play all 80s music, have snacks and drinks
we also play a gift exchange game where everyone brings a wrapped gift (no more than $5) put them in a pile, everyone in a circle takes turns rolling one dice, first person to get #1 picks a prize and opens it, next to get #2 can either steal or take a new prize, and so on till all the gifts are gone (one per person), if stealing and you have a prize all ready you just exchange yours for theirs, set a time limit at the end to keep the fun of stealing going! it can get pretty crazy when everyone wants that one really cool prize!!!!! this year we fought over a pair of pajamas and it got down to the very last seconds of who got it! make sure you tell people also it can be any kind of nice gift - just so everyone doesn't bring lotions and candles, we try to all be creative with our prizes from food to CDs!
